Paragon Media Strategies surveyed 404 (58% of which were female) radio listeners. Here's what they found:
- 16% said they might participate in a contest.
- 78% of those listeners (who might participate) said they prefer local contests.
And yet the Powerball is still successful.
Mind-boggling. Or is it?
Do people say one thing yet do another? Hmmm...
They forgot to question whether listeners were aware as to whether their favorite radio station ran national contests...
